Aight. We got several new problems to solve, some bad news, and some good news. Personally, I find knowing that the endless whack-a-mole runaround bullshit game of running interference on their stupid little plots is actually having an effect to be pretty encouraging.
But not as encouraging as knowing what exactly all that 'energy' collection scheming was actually for. That's something real. Something useful. To a point, anyway.
What I mean is, it's good to know, but it does raise a whole fucking bunch of new questions, like what part of their sick orbital battleship needs that energy. Something essential, clearly. But does that mean essential in a constant functionality way? Life support and gravity maybe? Or is it essential in a more future-plan necessity kind of way? Is there an Abyssal superweapon we need to worry about? I'm gonna put a pin in that, but it's something I've been thinking about.
Moving on, though, because I know we've got some more immediate stuff to do. Like, now we have to attend the Celestial Gala and infiltrate blah and do blah blah and investigate blah blah blah and okay you all read the same thing I did, I'm not going to repeat all of that shit.
Point is, this is a whole operation. Which is cool. That's cool. I'm a big fan of direct action.
And speaking of direct action, I have a real direct way I might be able to help. I'm just going to need everyone to get real cool about a lot of shit very quickly.
So like, take a minute or whatever it is you need.

Without going into too much detail, let's just say... that I already have an invite to the Gala.
Yeah. I know. And look, I know some of y'all are going to have questions. So I'm going to give you my solemn promise that I won't answer a single one of them.
And I can't get none of you invites, so don't ask, but I might be able to pick the organisers' brains, find some loopholes or opportunities. Something like that. I'm taking ideas.
