Not at all. [He actually smiles a little.] I had the initial impression that the rest of the Nova Knights would be a bit closer to my own age, so it's been a general surprise, but I'm hardly disappointed.

Yes. Whether... Reincarnation, or restore from backup on to blank selves, it seems our older selves were a lot closer in age.

[She tilts her head, considering the idea.]

Though, when you live for hundreds of years, I suppose age either becomes just a number, or so rigid as to break.

I like to think I wouldn't have stressed about it. I'm just worried for all the younger members. Me, I'm used to getting hit and shot at and a little blown up--it must be overwhelming if you've never experienced any of that before.

Eh, it's not that much different than getting into youth worlds at ten.

But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about the more sheltered ones, it is true.
